A 25-year-old teacher in Cumberland, Wisconsin is being investigated for possible inappropriate contact with a 17-year-old student. The Barron County Sheriff’s office says Courtney Jensen, of Cumberland, is a fifth-grade teacher and a coach in the Cumberland School District.
One person has died in a head-on crash involving a milk truck Tuesday morning near Cumberland, Wisconsin. The Barron County Sheriff’s office says the fatal crash happened at about 6:24 a.m. on Highway 48 and 3rd Street.
Barron County officials are searching for a vehicle after a 26-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday morning. At 7:22 a.m., the Barron County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the report of a pedestrian who appeared to have been struck by a motor vehicle on Highway 8 near 3 3/4th Street, which is near Upper Turtle Lake.
