The warm and sunny weather had a lot of people out on rooftops and patios for the first time this spring.
It seems Minneapolis’ oldest bar may have closed its doors for good. On Tuesday, would-be customers and passersby noticed that Pracna on Main was closed. The bar and restaurant was built in 1890 and sat along the cobblestones of the city’s oldest street.
There are two cool new businesses opening up in the Twin Cities metro area Friday! The first is the Badger Hill Brewing Company’s new brewery and taproom in Shakopee.
A new Twin Cities restaurant is nearly ready to take diners to new heights. “Betty Danger’s Country Club” in northeast Minneapolis is hard to miss, especially with the 60-foot Ferris wheel out front.
If you see a new Ferris wheel-like structure in northeast Minneapolis in 2014, it’s not for a carnival. It’s part of new restaurant. Leslie Bock, owner of Psycho Suzi’s, has submitted plans to open Betty Danger’s Country Club, which will feature a “vertically revolving patio” as a seating option.
