Thursday had Amelia and Mark working for their dinner on the Iron Range, but Friday held its own adventures. The two were up in Gilbert, which is about 200 miles north of Minneapolis. Their first stop was at the Whistling Bird, which brings the taste of the Carribean to the Iron Range.
The summer road trip continues this week with a stop up north. Amelia Santaniello and Mark Rosen hit the road in the Mobile Weather Watcher and headed to the Iron Range town of Biwabik. The Biwabik area is dotted with lakes that used to be old open-pit iron mines.
