Three suspects are in police custody, and one is recovering from injuries sustained from a K-9 officer, after a robbery spree in Anoka County Thursday night. According to Blaine Police, officers from multiple law enforcement agencies responded to three separate reports of armed robberies in the area between 11:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The first report was on the 1000 block of County Road 10 in Spring Lake Park, the second was near Able Street Northeast and 87th Lane Northeast in Blaine and the third was on the 1100 block of 95th Avenue Northeast, also in Blaine. Descriptions from witnesses about the suspects, their vehicle and weapon (a shotgun or rifle) tied all three crimes together.
Authorities in Blaine are looking for a woman who is suspected of robbing a bank inside a grocery store on Wednesday and hope a clear surveillance photo can help lead to her arrest.
