The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says Paul Bunyan State Trail has now been extended to Crow Wing State Park in Brainerd.
Authorities have released the name of an 86-year-old Brainerd man who was killed in a tractor accident last week. The Cass County sheriff’s office identifies the victim as Reuben Root.
An 86-year-old Brainerd man died when a tractor pinned him late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. At 5:56 p.m., authorities responded to the report of a man pinned by a tractor in a shed at a residence in Sylvan Township.
