A winter wonderland will soon be open to the public. Two years ago, Brent Christensen built an ice castle outside of Mall of America. This year it’s back, but at Miller Park in Eden Prairie.
A shimmering ice castle creation is returning to Minnesota this winter. Crews have spent the past few weeks preparing the site of the acre-sized icy palace in Eden Prairie’s Miller Park. On Monday they expect to turn on the water, and the ice will start going up.
When it comes to ice in Minnesota, magical or “one-of-a-kind” doesn’t usually come to mind, but that’s exactly how a new, icy attraction on the way to the Twin Cities is being described.
