Harriet Island Flooding Ruins Wedding Plans

Every couple plans their wedding with the hope that it will be the perfect day. But flooding at Harriet Island in St. Paul is causing a lot of anxiety for some brides and grooms-to-be. So far, four weddings have been cancelled because of the swollen Mississippi River, and couples are scrambling to make last-minute changes.

Bridal Show Helps Fight Breast Cancer

The Brides Against Breast Cancer tour has made its way to Minneapolis. One thousand designer and brand name wedding gowns will be for sale at the Millennium Hotel. Show manager Kelsey Anderson says the discounts are deep.“All of our gowns are discounted up to 85 percent-off the original value. And they’ve been donated by designers, manufacturers and brides,” Anderson said.
