Police say a 21-year-old Eau Claire man was arrested for disorderly conduct after falling more than 30 feet while attempting some sort of stunt on a bridge over the Chippewa River.
The Kellogg-Third Street Bridge is closed to all traffic and pedestrians Friday.
Drivers in St. Paul will notice reduced lanes on a busy downtown bridge soon. City officials said the bridge at Third Street and Kellogg Avenue needs to be rebuilt. Part of Interstate 35 in downtown Duluth is closed Tuesday because of erosion on a bridge. The deterioration is on a piling that supports a bridge on the southbound lanes of the Interstate. Those lanes will be closed for at least a week while repairs are made.
A historic landmark at a Minnesota State Park is about to reopen to the public after flooding destroyed it. Park goers will finally be able to walk across the swinging bridge at Jay Cooke State Park next week.
