There were a lot of big football games around the Twin Cities Friday night, and it’s around this time of the year when the stars start to emerge.
As high school football players head to camp this week, some are just fighting for the chance to put the uniform and pads on under the lights every Friday night.
It was the first big weekend in high school sports across the state. Many ranked teams faced off against each other in hockey, and Minnetonka High School served as the host for the Breakdown Tipoff Classic, featuring many of the state’s top teams and players.
