Man Gets 2 Life Terms For Fargo Double Homicide

A man convicted in the November stabbing deaths of his ex-girlfriend and another man in Fargo has been sentenced to two life terms without parole. David Stevens was sentenced Friday afternoon. He pleaded guilty in January to killing 23-year-old Samantha Wickenheiser, of Fargo, and 30-year-old Ward Berg, of Moorhead, Minnesota, in Wickenheiser’s north Fargo apartment.

Brookings Blizzard head coach Cory Laylin has accepted the head coaching position at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn. Laylin has been head coach of the North American Hockey League team in South Dakota the past two seasons.

Dairy Economist To Speak At South Dakota State

A University of Minnesota dairy economist will speak at South Dakota University on Wednesday about current federal dairy legislation. Marin Bozic will talk at the Alfred Dairy Science Hall from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The session is sponsored by the South Dakota Dairy Producers.
