Now that we know major league soccer is coming to Minnesota, the question remains where will those games be played. The owners of the Minnesota United team are looking at downtown Minneapolis for the stadium site. Today, we learned they’re also talking to a Twin Cities suburb.

Vehicle Goes Off HIghway Into Holding Pond

A vehicle went off the road at the intersection of Interstate 94 with Highway 169 near Maple Grove Friday afternoon. Minnesota Department of Transportation cameras showed the vehicle in a holding pond, with the driver and another occupant standing on the roof.

Body Of 3-Year-Old Recovered From Brooklyn Park Swimming Pool

The body of a 3-year-old girl was recovered from a pool in an apartment complex in Brooklyn Park early Monday morning, according to police. Brooklyn Park police said officers received a report of a missing child at around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Group: Alleged Terroristic Threats Against Couple In Car Motivated By Bias

A Brooklyn Park woman is facing charges for threatening a couple with a pellet rifle as they waited to pick up their son. And one Minnesota organization claims the incident was motivated by bias. Nancy Kay Knoble, 48, was charged with one count of terroristic threats and reckless disregard.
