A Buffalo family is complete again. Sophie the yellow lab had been missing from her family since May. But with a little legwork and some police work, she’s back. For Christine Marroquin and her three kids, it’s been a rocky few months.

Buffalo Church Vandal Sentenced

The 30-year-old man who vandalized six Buffalo, Minn. churches in September 2012 because he was angry with God has been sentenced. Wade Edward Murray of Buffalo was specifically sentenced to five years of supervised probation and 70 hours of community service.

Moulson Has 2 goals, Assist Vs. Islanders

Matt Moulson scored twice and had three points in his first game against the Islanders since being traded earlier this season, and Ilya Bryzgalov was solid in making 36 saves as the Minnesota Wild made the most of 22 shots and beat New York 6-0 on Tuesday night.

‘Red Bull Crashed Ice’ Inspires Extreme Home Courses

The Red Bull Crashed Ice track is going up right now in St. Paul. The frozen course sends racers up to 40 miles per hour down a twisted frozen course. The races are on Feb. 22, but before the event, some local folks have been inspired to try it at home. Cole Meyer iced over a giant hill at his parent’s house in Buffalo to re-create the course.

Three duck hunters in central Minnesota have been rescued after a conservation officer spotted them struggling in freezing water. Conservation Officer Rick Reller was checking waterfowl hunters this week on Swartout Lake in Wright County.

Sheriff: Man Arrested After Shooting At Wife In Buffalo

A 74-year-old man is in police custody after he apparently fired a gunshot at his wife during a domestic situation Sunday night northwest of the Twin Cities metro. The Wright County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a woman at about 7:27 p.m. on the 3300 block of Edmonson Avenue NE that her husband had just shot at her with a handgun.

Local Rapper Dessa’s Van Burglarized On Tour In NY

A local music star is suffering a big loss while on the road. According to Doomtree.net, the tour van of rapper and singer Dessa was burglarized Friday night, with thieves stealing crucial equipment for their shows. The singer/songwriter says her band lost computers, camera gear, merchandise and cash. It happened during a tour stop in Buffalo, N.Y. As police search for the stolen gear, Dessa started a fundraising page to replace those items. Fans have already contributed more than $20,000 as of Saturday evening.
