Officers in Stearns County are searching for a male who allegedly robbed a woman’s home Monday afternoon. According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, the homeowner returned around 12:32 p.m. Monday and saw an adult male in her home.
Authorities in Chaska say a $1,000 reward is being offered to find the responsible party after a safe containing church documents was recently stolen. Chaska Police said the incident happened at the Chaska Moravian Church at 115 Fourth St. on July 14.

Police had an unusual pursuit in Austin when a burglary suspect tried to flee down the Cedar River in kayak Sunday afternoon. Police say the incident began at around 5 p.m. at the Old Mill Restaurant, which hadn’t opened yet. An employee heard someone in the building and saw two men leaving out the back door.
