A Minnesota man pulled from his burning car is getting the chance to thank the man he calls his hero. Michael Johannes was trapped inside his SUV after it caught fire Sunday night on 35W in New Brighton. He frantically tried to free himself, but the doors wouldn’t open.
Authorities said a Woodbury man saved another man’s life Sunday after pulling him from a burning car on I-35W in New Brighton. The Minnesota State Patrol said the incident happened at about 6:40 p.m. on I-35W and County Road D.
