It is expected to take several days to clean up the mess caused by a leaking Canadian Pacific oil tanker train. The train left a 65-mile long oil spill from Red Wing to Winona on Monday morning before the leak was finally detected and stopped.
Residents in a small town in northwestern Minnesota are returning home after a two-hour evacuation prompted by a nearby rail-car derailment.
A Canadian Pacific train derailed near Red Wing, Minn., Sunday morning, causing 19 rail cars to come off the tracks and two to tip over, a spokesperson for the company said.
