Two of the three Carleton College students that were killed in a car accident last week will be laid to rest this weekend. Paxton Harvieux, Michael Goodgame and James Adams were killed last Friday after their SUV slid into the path of an oncoming semi truck.
Three college students died Friday afternoon south of the Twin Cities metro when an SUV collided with a semi on icy roads, officials say. The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 3 and County Road 47 near Northfield, Minn., just before 3 p.m., according to a crash report.

A third child has died after a terrible accident in western Wisconsin. According to Kari Milberg’s CaringBridge site, the young girl – Milberg’s niece – died on Saturday. The deadly crash happened Thursday near Prescott, Wis. in Oak Grove Township. Milberg, 32, was driving when the vehicle somehow spun into the path of an oncoming truck. Her 11-year-old daughter and 5-year-old niece were also killed in the accident.
A five-year-old boy was struck and injured by a vehicle in south Minneapolis. According to Minneapolis Police, they received a call at 6:57 p.m. that the boy was hit near the intersection of East 26th Street and 11th Avenue South. Police, fire and ambulance responded to the call.
