DNR: No Ice Is ‘Safe Ice’

It’s been a dangerous winter on Minnesota lakes. On Lake Minnetonka alone, 14 vehicles and one snowmobile have gone through the ice – and three people have died.

Authorities say two men had to quickly ditch a car before it plunged into a St. Paul lake early Tuesday morning.
