Authorities in northern Minnesota say they arrested a 22-year-old man Thursday in connection to a bank robbery. The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says the robbery happened just after 3:30 p.m. at the Northview Bank in Barnum, Minn.
An 18 year old is in the Carlton County Jail after being arrested for writing a bomb threat that led to the evacuation of Esko School on Tuesday. According to the Carlton County Sheriff’s office, Eddie Michael Edwards is suspected of leaving a written threat that was found around noon on Tuesday in the K-12 school. The building was evacuated, and everyone moved to a nearby church while bomb detection dogs were dispatched. The FBI was also involved in the situation.
A 37-year-old man was arrested Thursday after he broke into a northern Minnesota home and demanded guns and ammunition from the homeowner, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
