Mom Of Murdered Girls Hopes Art Will Pay For New Playground

Jessica Schaffhausen is auctioning off 100 pieces of her late daughters’ artwork. The money will be used to build a playground in their memory. Amara, Sophie and Cecelia were just 11, 8 and 5 when they were murdered by their father, Aaron Schaffhausen, last summer. He is now serving life in prison.

Schaffhausen Unlikely To Take Stand In Upcoming Trial

Aaron Schaffhausen sat silently in the St. Croix County courtroom as Judge Howard Cameron admonished both sides. With the homicide trial set to begin in one month, the judge wants both prosecution and defense attorneys to keep their cases focused and to the point.
