False Alarm: Thunder Bay Police No Longer Searching For Hoffman

Canadian police say a false alarm went out Thursday night, informing people that murder suspect Ty Hoffman was believed to be in Thunder Bay after officers thought they saw him and a car with Minnesota license plates.

State Patrol: 2 Dead In Crash On I-694, Baby Survives

Two people died Friday evening in Anoka County following a rear-end crash on east-bound Interstate-694, according to the Minnesota State Patrol The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m. near the intersection of Matterhorn Drive in Fridley. Authorities say a male driver was traveling over 100 miles per hour when he rear-ended a semi truck in the eastbound lanes.

Man Pleads Guilty To Fleeing Police, Killing 1 In Crash

A 34-year-old St. Paul man has pleaded guilty to fleeing police and crashing into a vehicle, killing one person and seriously injuring another, according to the Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman.

A carbon monoxide leak forced several families out of a northeast Minneapolis apartment building. Ten people went to the hospital with symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. No one is in serious or critical condition.

Faribault Police Investigate 3 Related Drive-By Shootings

Police responded Thursday night to the third drive-by shooting in the past week. According to Faribault Police, a drive-by shooting was reported Thursday at 11:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Central Avenue NW. The apparent target was a single-family home with several occupants, including young children. The home was struck by several bullets, but no one was injured.
