Champlin Police Arrest Suspected Package Thief

Champlin Police have made an arrest in connection to a string of package thefts in several metro cities. Johnathan Demetrius Lee Henry, 34, was arrested Friday on suspicion of multiple package thefts in Champlin, Brooklyn Center, New Hope and Robbinsdale. He is accused of stealing packages left outside of homes in residential neighborhoods.

Champlin Residents Becoming Vigilant Over Package Thefts

The holiday shopping season is around the corner, and police have a warning: Don’t get packages delivered to your house when you aren’t there. Last Friday and Saturday in Champlin, police received two reports of packages stolen from doorways in the middle of the afternoon. But one of them happened at a house where a security camera was rolling, and the face of one of the thieves is clearly visible.

Deck Collapses In Champlin, Injuring Infant, 3 Adults

Authorities said four people were hurt Sunday night, including an infant, after a two-story deck collapsed in Champlin. Champlin Police responded to the 12900 block of Monticello Lane Sunday night on a report of a deck collapse.

Police Looking For Suspects In Cub Foods Vehicle Theft

Champlin Police are looking for two suspects after several items, including a gun, were recently stolen from a vehicle in the Cub Foods parking lot near Highway 169 and 114th Avenue.
