hanhassen Crime Prevention released a public safety notice after an adult male reportedly stopped a boy walking home from school. According to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office, around 4:40 p.m. on Monday a 12-year-old boy was walking home from the bus drop on Orchard Lane when an adult male pulled up next to him.

Ariz. Teen Charged With Baseball Bat Assault At Chanhassen Church

A 19-year-old man from Flagstaff, Arizona was charged Monday with second- and third-degree assault for an attack on an 18-year-old man in the parking lot of a Chanhassen church. Jabari Javon Marshall is accused of hitting Oliver Smith in the head several times with a souvenir baseball bat at Westwood Community Church in the early morning of Oct. 12.

Minn. Pilot Critical Injured In New Mexico Crash

A single-engine plane crashed while landing at a northern New Mexico airport, injuring all four people aboard, including one critically. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford says the pilot was hospitalized in critical condition while the three passengers on the plane suffered less serious injuries in the crash at the Las Vegas airport late Wednesday.

1 Killed After Vehicle Hits Guard Rail, Strikes Other Vehicle Head-On

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a vehicle careened into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle, killing its driver Thursday afternoon. The sheriff’s office says a vehicle was heading eastbound on Flying Cloud Drive in Chanhassen when it hit a guard rail, which caused it to careen into oncoming traffic and strike the other vehicle head-on.
