Gunfire Puts HCMC Into Lockdown

Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis went into lockdown Tuesday afternoon after reports of gunfire outside of the hospital, according to sources. The incident happened sometime after 3 p.m. near the area of 8th Street and Chicago Avenue, which is near the hospital’s 8th Street ER entrance

Robbery Spree Plagues South Minneapolis

In the past two and half weeks, a rash of robberies have plagued three south Minneapolis neighborhoods. There have been 17 robberies total, half of which happened in the early morning hours. The rest occurred after 6 p.m.
