It’s time to kick butt! The Children’s Cancer Research Fund has officially announced Wednesday, June 17 as “Kick Cancer’s Butt Day.”
Being somewhat naïve when it comes to fashion, but always eager to learn, I was extremely excited to attend the highly anticipated Macy’s Glamorama. This year the event took place in downtown Minneapolis at the State Theater on Hennepin, and the theme was Fashion Rocks!
Gov. Mark Dayton has declared Tuesday to officially be “Love Your Melon Day.” The event is meant to honor thousands of local children battling cancer and their families that have been there to support them.
Singer Sheryl Crow and the theatrical circus troupe Cirque du Soleil will perform at this year’s Macy’s Glamorama in Minneapolis. Crow is a nine-time Grammy winner who has sold more than 35 million records worldwide. Cirque du Soleil will showcase its Las Vegas productions at Macy’s Glamorama this year.
Four chefs, three courses – but this time, there’s a lot more on the line.
It is fundraising run, walk and ride season. In May alone there’s the Walk for Animals, the Walk for Bladder Cancer, Walk MS, the Huntingson’s Disease Hope Walk, the Autism 5K, the MN AIDS Walk – all are part of the 100 plus walks and runs that have permits to use Minneapolis Parks in 2012.
