St. Paul Man Gets 5-Year Sentence In Church Arson

A 27-year-old man has been sentenced for setting fire to a St. Paul church last December. On Thursday, Gregory Louis Knox, of St. Paul, learned he will spend 5 years in the St. Cloud Prison.

Southeasern Minn. Church Destroyed In Fire

A small church in southeastern Minnesota is a total loss after a fire early Thursday morning, according to the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities responded to the fire at about 2:50 a.m. at Henrytown Lutheran Church, located at 36190 County Road 18, which is north of the city of Canton.

St. Paul Church Damaged By Arson Holds Fundraiser

members of a church in St. Paul are gathering Saturday night to rebuild after an arsonist destroyed part of it. Flames destroyed an addition to Saint Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church on Dec. 12, ruining some classrooms and offices. Gregory Louis Knox, 27, turned himself in to police hours after the fire.

St. Paul Man Charged In Church Arson

A 27-year-old man was charged Monday with two counts of arson in connection with a fire set at a St. Paul church. Gregory Louis Knox, of St. Paul, is accused of starting a fire at Saint Mark Lutheran Church at 550 West 7th Street on the morning of Dec. 12. According to the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office, investigators say two fires were set in the church: one in a break room garbage can, and another in the file cabinet in the pastor’s office.

Two families are safe after a church where they lived caught fire in Moorhead, Minn. early Monday morning. Firefighters were called around 5:30 a.m. to a fire at the Moorhead Baptist Church at 512 Highway 75 North. According to authorities, firefighters believe the fire started in the center of the building and moved into the attic space.
