Supporters of Shannon Miller and the rest of the Minnesota Duluth women’s hockey staff want them reinstated. Miller coached UMD to five NCAA national championships. But the university decided not to renew her contract after this season.

Ex-Coach Accused Of Relationship With Student Arrested Again

A former tennis coach who was accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage student has been arrested again. Daniel Hubbard-Wilson, 27, was arrested last week and booked for violating a restraining order and for harassment in relation to the restraining order. He was released over the weekend on bond.

Accused Coach Arrested For Violating No Contact Order

A former tennis coach accused of having a sexual relationship with a student was arrested for violating a no contact order. Records show that St. Paul police arrested 27-year-old Daniel Hubbard-Wilson. He was accused earlier this month of having a sexual relationship with a teenage student. Official charges, however, have yet to come down.

University of Minnesota Athletic Director Norwood Teague announced Monday that Marlene Stollings has been named the Gophers’ new women’s basketball coach. Southern Illinois defensive coordinator Kyle “Bubba” Schweigert has been named new head football coach at the University of North Dakota. High School Coach On Leave After Tattooing Minors

A high school coach has been placed on paid administrative leave for tattooing minors without their parent’s permission. Terry Robert Hardy, 37, is the gymnastics coach at Park High School in Cottage Grove. He’s been cited for two counts of tattooing minors without written parental consent. A 16-year-old girl told WCCO that Hardy gave her three tattoos and a tongue piercing, all inside his home.
