According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Fridley Police received a report of two injured men in the area of 77th Avenue and Main Street at about 4:25 a.m.
Authorities have identified a Northfield man who died last Friday after falling from a third-floor window in Columbia Heights. Police were called to the 900 block of 46 ½ Ave. NE at about 3 a.m. on July 25 on a report that a man had fallen out of a third floor window.

A woman was struck twice during a shooting in Columbia Heights, Minn. early Monday morning. Police say the shooting happened on the 1300 block of Circle Terrace Northeast at about 2 a.m.
Officials with Xcel Energy said power was knocked out more than 12,000 customers in the north Twin Cities metro late Thursday morning and crews are working to restore it. Tom Hoen with Xcel Energy said the outages happened shortly before noon Thursday in the communities of Fridley, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids and Mounds View.
