Some Twin Cities law students introduced a new bill Friday that would help fill a dentist shortage in parts of the state. Concordia University students say many people living in rural Minnesota are forced to drive hours to see a dentist because no one in their area treats Medicaid patients with special needs.

Zach Moore Works Toward NFL Draft Day

Zach Moore did not grow up in affluence and when he signed on to play at Concordia University in St. Paul, the NFL seemed light years away. Moore grew up on the south side of Chicago. “The south side of Chicago is notorious. You know you hear about a lot of the shootings and deaths, and, you know, the gang mentality that’s associated with it,” Moore said.
