MN Inmates Charged With Filing $400K In False Tax Returns

Two inmates at a Minnesota prison are accused of filing $400,000 in false tax claims to the Internal Revenue Service, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Tony Terrell Robinson, 30, and Tanka James Tetzlaff, 39, were each charged Tuesday with one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States and 10 counts each of making false claims.

3 People Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Man At Casino

Three people are in custody after allegedly assaulting a man at Fortune Bay Casino on Sunday night. Nineteen-year-old Calli Padgett, of Virginia, Minn., 20-year-old Dalton Richard, of Virginia, and a 16-year-old male from Gilbert, Minn. have all been arrested for conspiracy and second degree assault. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Bryan, 22, was lured to the casino by Padgett.

3 More Charged In Connection With Waseca Plot

Three more people have been charged in connection with what investigators are calling a 17-year-old Waseca boy’s plot to kill his family and stage a Columbine-like attack on his school. According to the Waseca Police Department, two 17-year-old males and a 40-year-old man all face criminal charges.

A 27-year-old Stockton man has been charged with conspiring to deal more than 500 grams of meth. Gabriel Orion Lowther was charged with one count of conspiracy as his indictment alleges that from August 2012 to June 2013, he aimed to distribute 500 or more grams of methamphetamine.
