Vikings Move Ahead With Clear Glass In Stadium Construction

‘No More Wiggle Room’ In Vikings Stadium Schedule

The latest construction schedule for the Minnesota Vikings $1 billion stadium leaves “no more wiggle room,” a team official said Wednesday. Minnesota Vikings vice president Lester Bagley told The Associated Press that the new “substantial completion” date of July 29 will be cutting it close.

Two workers at a power line work site near Fairfax, Minnesota were shocked on Monday morning, according to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office. The accident happened at about 8:45 a.m. Both workers were airlifted from the scene.

Stretch Of I-35E Closed From Little Canada To St. Paul

A busy stretch of interstate in the east metro is closed this weekend as crews take down a couple of bridges. I-35E between I-94 in downtown St. Paul, Minn. and Highway 36 in Little Canada, Minn. closed Friday evening and will reopen Monday. Crews are tearing down the Larpenteur Avenue and Gateway State Trail bridges.
