A man was shot and killed after stepping off of a Metro Transit bus Thursday evening in north Minneapolis. Police say the fatal shooting happened near Penn Avenue North and North 26th Avenue just before 7 p.m.
A missing 3-year-old boy was found unresponsive in Pelican Lake in Breezy Point, Minn. Friday evening, according to the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office. Law enforcement responded to a report of a missing child near Breezy Point Resort just after 7:30 p.m. Within minutes, the boy was found in the water by relatives.
A man is in the hospital Monday night after he was pulled from a swimming pool unconscious. According to authorities, a male in his 40s was swimming in a pool at a private residence in the 2700 block of Ottawa Avenue when someone noticed he was not breathing.

A 63-year-old Shafer man is dead after a snowmobile accident Saturday, according to the Chisago County Sheriff’s office. A Minnesota father says he owes his life to his friends after his heart stopped during a pick-up hockey game. In September, 57-year-old Scott Rodriguez of Roseville collapsed and stopped breathing while playing hockey at the Richfield Ice Arena.

A 7-year-old boy is being treated at an area hospital after he was found unconscious in Wirth Lake Friday afternoon, according to Minneapolis Police. Keylen Rashan Thorton was initially reported missing by his grandmother at 2 p.m. Lifeguards cleared the lake and searched for Keylen, who was found in a swimming area that is four to six feet deep. Lifeguards performed CPR on him and were able to detect a pulse. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
