WisDOT: May Traffic Deaths Lowest In 68 Years
The fewest people died in Wisconsin traffic deaths in the month of May since the end of World War II, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Thirty-three people died in Wisconsin crashes, 17 fewer than May 2012 and 19 under the five-year average for the month of May.

Four hours after Wednesday morning’s deadly crash, accident reconstruction crews were still at the scene. A Ford sedan came to rest in the ditch along Lexington Avenue while a Toyota SUV sits sideways on the road.

Patrol: 1 Dead After Motorcycle Crash On Hwy 169
One person is dead Saturday afternoon in a crash involving a motorcycle and a truck on Highway 169 near 63rd Avenue in the northwest metro. The Minnesota State Patrol says at 12:55 p.m., 30-year-old Jeffrey Cornelius of Blaine was driving a Ford Super Duty truck and stopped in traffic on the highway, causing 72-year-old LeRoy Moyer of Elk River to swerve to prevent his Harley Davidson motorcycle from colliding with the truck.

A head-on crash with a freight semi killed a Foley woman late Friday night in Benton County, according to the state patrol. Authorities are investigating the incident that killed Cynthia Zillmer, 57, of Foley, Minn., at about 11:20 p.m. Friday just outside of Gilman on Highway 25 in central Minnesota.

Police say a motorcyclist was killed early Sunday after colliding with a limo bus in Minneapolis. Officers were dispatched to the intersection at West 27th Street and Emerson Avenue South around 3:04 a.m. Sunday. Police say the motorcyclist, a man, was traveling west on 27th when it hit a limo bus, traveling south on Emerson.
Police ID Man Killed In Duluth Bike Crash
Duluth police have released the name of a 36-year-old man who died after crashing his bicycle into a pole. Officers saw Koantonio Dean Farley of Duluth riding his bicycle at a high rate of speed in downtown Duluth Wednesday. Police say Farley had crossed the street and was trying to go up a ramp when he hit a pole.
Cops Investigating Sherburne County School Bus Crash
Authorities are investigating after a car struck a school bus carrying 30 students Thursday afternoon in Sherburne County. Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott said three people are injured after a school bus, which had stopped, was struck from behind by another vehicle about 2:30 p.m. Thursday on County Road 5 in Big Lake Township.
