Formal charges have been filed against a woman who is accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian in Wright County in August 2013. Linda Gullickson, 68, has been charged with one count of vehicular homicide after she allegedly struck and killed Phillip Lavallee, 19, in August, 2013.
Two people suffered minor injuries after a vehicle crashed into a grocery store on Rice Street in St. Paul Saturday night. According to authorities, Rachad Depre Bizzell, 32, drove into the Winnipeg Grocery store, around 8:15 p.m. Saturday on 864 Rice St., near Como Avenue. According to the criminal complaint, when officers arrived on the scene they found Bizzell lying on the ground next the driver’s door of his vehicle. A store clerk was also laying on the ground, surrounded by blood.

A couple towing a boat to northern Minnesota got a surprise visitor: a bald eagle crashed through the shrink wrap while they were traveling on Interstate 94 in Wisconsin. The eagle dove across the top of the pickup truck of Scott and Marilyn Kregness as they crossed the Red Cedar River near Menomonie at about 70 miles an hour on Friday, according to the Chippewa Herald.

The driver of a pick-up truck being chased by police was hospitalized Wednesday morning after the pursuit ended with the truck crashing into a brick wall in Maplewood, according to police. Authorities said the chase started at about 2:40 a.m. in Minneapolis on Highway 55 near Interstate 94.
