Coon Rapids Man, 21, Missing In St. Croix River

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Department says there are crews searching the St. Croix River in Taylor Falls on a report of a person in the water. The report of a person in the water went out at 4:45 p.m., according to the sheriff’s department.

MnDOT: Sinkhole Has Highway 10 Partially Closed

An Elk River sinkhole has the left lane of westbound Highway 10, just east of Main Street, closed, MnDOT said. Crews are working and the lane is expected to re-open by 4 p.m. Friday as the pavement needs more time to set because of the hot weather.

Crews Clearing Out St. Paul Log Jam, Could Complete It Today

A log jam at Raspberry Island near downtown St. Paul is finally being cleared. There had been a dispute between the city of St. Paul and the St. Paul Yacht Club as to who was responsible for cleaning up the debris. With the weight of the log jam pushing against the bridge, concerns arose over the bridge’s integrity. That’s when the city decided to step in and foot the bill, which is an estimated $25,000.
