A 27-year-old Richfield man is facing charges after driving his vehicle out of a tow lot without paying a fine and hitting a worker from the lot. Dejovon Deandre Harris was charged with first-degree criminal damage to property and fifth-degree assault in connection with the Dec. 15 incident.
A 33-year-old St. Paul Park man is accused of trying to set his ex-girlfriend’s home on fire after she apparently stole items out of his vehicle, according to charges filed Thursday in Dakota County Court. Paul David Garay was charged with two felony counts of first-degree burglary and one felony count of first-degree criminal damage to property in connection with the incident.
A 30-year-old man from St. Paul was arrested by St. Cloud Police Wednesday night for throwing a rock through a car window with one adult and three children inside. Police responded to the incident at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block 19th Avenue North in St. Cloud.
A South St. Paul Police sergeant was charged Friday with two counts of fourth-degree driving while impaired, one count of criminal damage to property and one count of fleeing a peace officer after a run in with Rosemount Police earlier this week. According to the Dakota County Attorney’s office, 26-year-old Cory Michael Slifko fled from a Rosemount Police officer who was attempting to pull him over around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
