A few months ago, WCCO introduced you to a puppy who needed a little help. Cupid was first found on Valentine’s Day in a snow bank, and was taken in by Ruff Start Rescue. Both of his front legs were bowed out due to a deformity, making it tough for him to walk.
A rescued puppy is back at his foster mom’s house and healing after undergoing surgery to correct deformed front paws. The hound puppy, Cupid, underwent surgery this week. Cupid was taken in a month ago by Ruff Start Rescue. His front paws bowed out, making it difficult for the hound puppy to walk.
A rescued puppy is able to spread the love he’s received thanks to WCCO’s viewers. On Saturday night, we introduced you to a 3-month-old hound named Cupid. The rescue group Ruff Start took him in, knowing he’d need surgery to fix his deformed front paws.
Azur Davis, founder of central Minnesota’s “Ruff Start Rescue,” has helped save more than 1.700 animals. But Davis says there’s just something about Cupid, a 3-month-old hound dog with deformed front legs. “He walks with the front paws completely bent in,” Davis said. “We know that there’s a hard case that’s going to need a lot of vet care.” The overtly affectionate puppy was first found in a central Minnesota ditch.
