Charges: 2 Hastings Men Prostituted Girl For Marijuana

Two Hastings men are accused of prostituting an underage girl as a form of payment in a drug deal, according to charges filed in Dakota County Court. William Dale Willis, 25, and Daniel Rashaun Gopie, 27, were each charged with two felony counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with the Sept. 21 incident.

Shakopee Teen Charged In Eagan Crash That Hurt Baby, 2 Others

A 17-year-old female from Shakopee has been charged in a July crash in Eagan that caused serious injuries to a 15-month old child and left two others hurt, according to the Dakota County Attorney’s Office. The female was charged with one felony count of criminal vehicular operation involving gross negligence and one misdemeanor count of careless driving in connection with the July 17 crash.

Accused Cop Killer Pleads Not Guilty

The man accused of killing a Mendota Heights police officer pleaded not guilty Monday morning, and his defense is seeking a change of venue because of the level of media coverage surrounding his case. The plea was entered by defense attorneys for Brian Fitch Sr. during a hearing in Dakota County Court.

Charges: West St. Paul Man Strangled Girlfriend To Death

A 28-year-old West St. Paul man is accused of strangling his girlfriend to death after she ended her relationship with him in August, according to charges filed in Dakota County Court. Marc Amouri Bakambia has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder and second-degree murder in connection with the Aug. 10 incident.

A 33-year-old Hastings man is accused of threatening to kill another man at a Walmart in late September who he believes killed his brother, according to charges filed in Dakota County Court. Jeremy John Reuter was charged with one felony count of terroristic threats in connection with the Sept. 27 incident.

Charges: Bridal Store Worker Stole Woman’s Credit Card Info

A 48-year-old bridal store worker is accused of stealing credit card information from a shopper and using it in at least four other stores, according to charges filed Wednesday in Dakota County Court. Lucinda Noyola Alsides of St. Paul was charged with one count of financial transaction card fraud in connection with the incidents, which took place between June and July.

Lawyers: Accused Cop Killer Will Plead Not Guilty

The defense team for the man accused of killing a Mendota Heights police officer said he intends to plead not guilty. Brian Fitch appeared at an arraignment Thursday morning in Dakota County. The 39-year-old Fitch is accused of fatally shooting Officer Scott Patrick during a traffic stop July 30 in West St. Paul.

Minnesota Man Charged In Strangling Death

A West St. Paul man is being held on $1.5 million bond in the strangling death of his girlfriend. Marc Bakambia was charged Monday with second-degree intentional murder in Dakota County court in the August death of 24-year-old Dorothy Redd.

An 85-year old West St. Paul man is accused of threatening to shoot his neighbors over an ongoing dispute about a parking space, according to charges filed Wednesday in Dakota County Court. James Clayton Mattaini was charged with one felony count of making terroristic threats in connection with the incident, which happened Saturday in West St. Paul.
