No One Hurt When Truck Hits Minnesota-Bound Plane In Denver

No injuries have been reported after a de-icing truck hit a Delta Air Lines plane at Denver International Airport. Airport spokesman Heath Montgomery says Delta Flight 1780 was getting ready to take off to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport when the truck struck the plane Wednesday morning.

Passengers Talk About Terrifying Delta Flight

Passengers aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Minneapolis braced for the worst Tuesday morning after the plane began having trouble after take-off. The pilot radioed the tower to report the problem. At the same time, passengers were being notified the plane was going to need to make an emergency landing. Passengers aboard Delta flight 2116 immediately knew something was wrong.

A Minneapolis man is fighting to get his job back Wednesday. Kip Hedges says Delta fired him for trying to unionize airline employees. Hedges says his comments about the need to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour, and the right to unionize, cost him his job of 26 years.

Planes Clip Wings At MSP Airport

A spokesperson for Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport says two planes clipped wings on a taxiway Wednesday night. The accident happened at about 8:30 p.m., and involved a Compass Airlines flight headed to Louisville and a Delta flight to Los Angeles. Both planes returned to the terminal and passengers were taken off.

Mpls. Boy Who Stowed Away On Flight Is Back With Family

The Minneapolis boy who stowed away on a flight to Las Vegas in October is now with his family – and no longer under court jurisdiction, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Friday. On Tuesday, the Hennepin County judge says since the boy returned to his parents on May 30, he has been making good progress and the parents have been cooperative with social workers and outside help.

2 Men Accused Of Defrauding Delta Of Millions

A federal grand jury indicted two men on charges they were part of a long-running scheme to defraud Delta Airlines. The U.S. attorney’s office in Atlanta says Michael Yedor of Los Angeles and Paul Anderson of Apple Valley, Minnesota, were indicted June 10. It wasn’t immediately clear if they had lawyers.
