Ryan Doumit singled in the go-ahead run, Joe Mauer homered, doubled and singled, and the Minnesota Twins defeated the Washington Nationals 4-3 in 11 innings Saturday. Josh Roenicke (2-1) pitched a scoreless 10th inning for the win and Glen Perkins retired Washington in the 11th for his 13th save. The Twins, who were playing their first game in Washington since 1971, have won eight of 11.
