Disaster Recovery Center
The response to the tornado that hit north Minneapolis earlier this month is changing as service providers scale back at the Disaster Recovery Center at Farview Park.
The Disaster Recovery Center set up at Farview Park served 2,500 people in first two days that it was open on Wednesday and Thursday.
In its first day of operation, more than 1200 people were helped at the Disaster Recovery Center in north Minneapolis.
Tuesday afternoon, the city of Minneapolis informed some of those folks that, like it or not, their house isn’t safe enough to live in anymore after Sunday’s tornado.
