TCF To Close Downtown Minneapolis Location

TCF Bank is closing its bank in downtown Minneapolis and 37 other branches in Chicago. In a release on Wednesday, the corporation announced its plan to consolidate, saying it’s so the company can grow in different ways.

Authorities ID Epic Nightclub Shooting Victim

Authorities said a 27-year-old Minneapolis man was shot to death inside a downtown nightclub early Sunday morning. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office released the victim’s name Tuesday morning. He was identified as Tyrone Washington Jr. of Brooklyn Park.

Police are concerned about retaliation after a 27-year-old man was shot and killed in downtown Minneapolis. It happened early Sunday morning inside Epic, a nightclub in the warehouse district. Authorities said about two thousand people were in there when the shooting happened.

2 Shot, 2 Stabbed In 4 Different Attacks In DT Mpls.

Violence erupted in downtown Minneapolis early Monday morning, sending four people to area hospitals. Two people were shot, and two others were stabbed in incidents that do not appear to be related. According to police, the overnight violence came right after bar closing, when more than a thousand young people were in the street after an 18-and-up event let out.
