Duluth police have released the name of a woman who was stabbed to death in her home over the weekend. Authorities were called to the home just before 7 p.m. Saturday and found the body of 52-year-old Lisa Jean Isham.

It was Easter Sunday when a family in Duluth lost everything they had in a fire. Now the Duluth Police Department is helping that family out. On Saturday, officers with the Duluth Police Department took the two children, 5-year-old Aurora and 3-year-old Kayden, on a trip to Walmart.

Police Identify Duluth Homicide Victim, Suspect

The Duluth Police Department has identified a 33-year-old man found dead with an apparent head injury. Matthew Walker of Duluth was discovered Saturday morning outside of a multi-unit rental property. Police say the victim was assaulted, but have declined to comment further.

Duluth Firefighter Charged With Sexually Assaulting Infant

A 32-year-old Duluth firefighter is facing four criminal charges after police say they found child pornography on his electronic devices. Caleb Stuart Lofald of Hermantown is charged with felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct, felony possession of pictorial representation of minors, felony interference with privacy against a minor under 18 and misdemeanor interference with privacy.

Emergency personnel responded to two separate water emergency calls on Lake Superior Monday at Tot Lot Beach on Duluth’s Park Point. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, the water emergencies involved four swimmers in distress, and one would-be rescuer in distress. One incident was reported around 11:30 a.m., and the second around 4 p.m.
