Nearly 50 elementary school students are sick following a trip to YMCA Camp Pepin earlier this week, officials say. Farmington Schools Superintendent Jay Haugen said a group of fifth graders from Akin Road Elementary brought the illness – which is reportedly acting like a norovirus – with them to the camp earlier this week.
Elementary school students and staff in Lakeville, Minn. had to evacuate to another school after a water main break caused “a considerable amount of damage,” according to a school official.
Authorities say an arrest was made Thursday night in connection to the arson fire that closed a Wisconsin elementary school for the rest of the school year.
