An 18-year-old woman was killed and two others were hurt in a rollover crash Saturday morning on Interstate 35 south of the Twin Cities, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Authorities responded to the crash at about 3:32 a.m. Saturday on I-35 near Elko.
Frank Kimmel moved within of victory of tying Iggy Katona’s ARCA Racing Series record Saturday, winning the Akona 250 at Elko Speedway for his 78th win. The 51-year-old Kimmel led the last 50 laps en route to his second victory of the season. “Feels great,” Kimmel said. “I love this place.” Tom Hessert was second, followed by Jonathan Eilen, Justin Boston and Ken Schrader.
