A woman walked away from a shooting in south Minneapolis with minor injuries on Friday night. Police received a report of shots fired around 11:30 p.m. near 38th Street and Elliot Avenue South. Authorities say stray bullets hit the victim’s car. She went to the nearby market and called for help.
The Red Cross said it assisted two families Tuesday night after a duplex caught fire on the city’s south side.
A stabbing in Richfield on Friday left one man dead and another wounded, authorities said.
