Former Viking Erin Henderson Charged With DWI, Drug Possession

Former Minnesota Viking Erin Henderson is accused of driving drunk and possessing at least 10 grams of marijuana in an arrest last November, according to charges filed last week in Hennepin County Court.

Vikings Release LB Erin Henderson

The Minnesota Vikings have released linebacker Erin Henderson, who was recently arrested twice on suspicion of drunken driving. The Vikings announced Henderson’s release Friday. Henderson had one season left on his contract with a $1.95 million salary. Henderson’s latest arrest was Jan. 1 after he crashed his sport utility vehicle in Chanhassen.

Vikings LB Erin Henderson Arrested For DWI

For at least the second time since November, Henderson was arrested Wednesday in Chanhassen on suspicion of DWI. According to jail records, Henderson was booked into the Carver County Jail at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday for fourth-degree DWI, third-degree DWI, second-degree DWI test refusal and violating the conditions of a limited driver’s license.

Patterson Propels Minnesota Vikings To Victory In Metrodome Finale

The Minnesota Vikings closed the history of Mall of America Field with a victory Sunday by beating the Detroit Lions 14-13. Cordarrelle Patterson scored two touchdowns, one rushing and the other receiving for the only two Vikings scores. The Lions scored 13 straight points in the second half to take a lead, but could not keep the Vikings from scoring the winning touchdown.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Reaches Milestone

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson surpassed the 10,000 yard rushing plateau. He is the 28th player in league history and third quickest to do so. He is grateful for his God-given talent and blessed to have had the players around him to make it happen. Erin Henderson returned last week after missing the previous week with personal reasons, but did not play Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Cordarrelle Patterson’s role in the Vikings offense continues to expand.

Minnesota Vikings Release Jefferson, Further Thinning The Defensive Backfield

The Minnesota Vikings released A.J. Jefferson hours after he was arrested for a domestic assault claim. The Vikings are now down three healthy cornerbacks on their roster with one on their practice squad. Audie Cole made his start on Sunday and was impressive. He is likely to remain in the starting lineup. The Vikings filled their open roster spot by claiming offensive tackle Mike Remmers off waivers from the San Diego Chargers.

Vikings Rule Henderson Out; Peterson On Track

The Minnesota Vikings will play without starting middle linebacker Erin Henderson at Green Bay. Henderson has missed practice all week due to an unspecified personal matter. On Friday, coach Leslie Frazier ruled the team’s leading tackler out of the game against the Packers. Audie Cole will start in Henderson’s place. Another starter, defensive end Brian Robison, was listed as questionable for Sunday because of a muscle spasm in his neck.

Minnesota Vikings’ Defense Is Having A Disappointing Season

The Minnesota Vikings have a very good defense on paper. However, on the field it has been a different story. The Vikings rank near the bottom in the league in most statistical defensive categories. The Vikings lost linebacker Desmond Bishop to a torn ACL during the Week 5 loss to the Carolina Panthers. Uninspired And Effortless Vikings Lose To Carolina

The Minnesota Vikings showed very little effort in a blow out loss to the Carolina Panthers. The offense failed to move the ball as efficiently as it did in its previous game. Matt Cassel was unable to maintain the spark he had in London. The defense was shredded from beginning to end. The special teams units barely got a chance to show anything.
