Mpls. Teen Pleads Guilty To Fatally Shooting Man Protecting Son

A Minneapolis teen pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Monday in a case involving the shooting death of man who was defending his son. According to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, 17-year-old Joshua Ford is accused of fatally shooting 38-year-old Andrew Billingsley Jr. on July 24 in north Minneapolis.

A St. Paul woman is charged with a fatal shooting inside a downtown Minneapolis strip club. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said Tuesday 29-year-old Jasmine Nicole Jones is charged with second-degree murder.

One woman is dead and another is in custody after a shooting inside of a downtown Minneapolis strip club early Saturday morning. Minneapolis Police say the fatal shooting happened just after 1 a.m. at Augies Cabaret on Fifth Street and Hennepin Avenue.

Wisconsin Man Pleads In Dismemberment Slaying

A Wisconsin man has pleaded no contest to a homicide charge after being found competent to stand trial on charges of fatally shooting and dismembering a Minnesota man. Twenty-eight-year-old Kou Thao of Wausau pleaded no contest Wednesday to second-degree intentional homicide in the death of 58-year-old Tong Pao Hang, of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Tipster Will Get $40K Reward For Ty Hoffman’s Arrest

Friends and family of Kelly Phillips said Tuesday that the anonymous tipster who led authorities to suspected murder Ty Hoffman will receive the full $40,000 reward. The tipster called police in Shakopee last Thursday morning after spotting Hoffman in the Southbridge Crossing Shopping Center.

1 Arrested In Fatal Baldwin, Wis. Shooting

A man is in custody after a woman was found dead inside a vehicle in western Wisconsin Tuesday, according to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office. At around 11:48 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the report of a shooting in Baldwin, Wis. The 911 caller said he needed help for a passenger in their vehicle who had been shot, authorities said.

Police returned to the Anoka County Airport Tuesday morning in their search for the man accused of killing Kelly Phillips at a Twin Cities gas station last month. Police believe Lyle “Ty” Hoffman may have robbed a TCF Bank on County Road 10 in Blaine, Minn. over the weekend.

Police believe the man suspected of killing Kelly Phillips at an Arden Hills gas station last month may have robbed a bank in Blaine over the weekend. Lyle “Ty” Hoffman is wanted in connection with the Aug. 11 murder. On Monday, the Blaine Police Department issued a release saying that a TCF Bank in Blaine was robbed at gunpoint.
