Police: Man Found Shot To Death Inside Car In Mpls.

Police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a vehicle late Wednesday night in downtown Minneapolis. Authorities responded to the 1200 block of Washington Avenue at about 11:53 p.m. on a report of a shooting.

Info On Minn. Officer-Involved Shooting Submitted

The Hennepin County sheriff’s office has completed its investigation into a man’s fatal shooting by a Brooklyn Center police officer last month. The sheriff’s office submitted the information Friday to the Hennepin County Attorney’s office for review. That’s standard procedure after an investigation into an officer-involved shooting. The officer shot and killed the man during a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center on Aug. 23.

Extramarital Affair May Have Led To Roseville Murder-Suicide

Roseville Police have identified the two men involved in a murder-suicide that happened Thursday afternoon. Police say 44-year-old Cheng Vang from Roseville shot and killed his wife’s co-worker – 33-year old Joseph Yang from Brooklyn Park – before turning the gun on himself. The incident happened at 4:15 p.m. in the parking lot of CPI Card Group in the 1900 block of West County Road B2, where Cheng’s wife, Yong Vang, worked with Yang.

Brooklyn Center Homicide Victim ID’d

A Brooklyn Center man who was shot to death Thursday night in Minneapolis has been identified. According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, 32-year-old Chukwumah Terrell Okolie was shot multiple times at 42nd Ave. N. and Fremont Avenue North, and was pronounced dead at 10:50 p.m. Minneapolis Police continue to investigate this homicide.
