One woman is dead and another is in custody after a shooting inside of a downtown Minneapolis strip club early Saturday morning. Minneapolis Police say the fatal shooting happened just after 1 a.m. at Augies Cabaret on Fifth Street and Hennepin Avenue.
A construction project nearly three years in the making is almost done. The result – a luxury high-rise apartment building in downtown Minneapolis, unlike others we’ve seen in the past. It’s called The Nic on 5th. The building is on the corner of Nicollet Mall and 5th street, right by the light rail line and connected to the skyway.
Police were called to the scene of a shooting in St. Paul Park at 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Once there, authorities found a man dead from a gun shot at the house on Fifth Street near Pullman. At this time, there’s no information about a suspect.
It’s called railgating, and it will be part of the game day experience. Railgating happens in other cities, including New York City and others on the east coast before football games.
