Man, 38, Stabbed Multiple Times At NW Minnesota Campground

A 38-year-old man had to be taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after an assault at a northwestern Minnesota campground and one person is in custody in connection with the incident, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

Mpls. Man Charged With Shooting 3 Women 26 Times

A 20-year-old Minneapolis man was charged Thursday with three counts each of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault for the shooting of three women in north Minneapolis, according to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. Delonte Ahshone Thomas is accused of returning to a party on the 3500 block of Fremont Avenue North in the early morning of July 9 with a semi-automatic gun after leaving due to a dispute with fellow guests.

South St. Paul Man Charged For Allegedly Assaulting 15-Month Old

A South St. Paul, Minn. man has been charged for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend’s 15-month old toddler while she was at work. LaMar James Crump, 21, has been charged with one felony count each of first degree assault and malicious punishment of a child. According to police, officers responded to call around 6:10 a.m. Thursday of a child being unresponsive in an apartment in South St. Paul.

Minnesota Surgeon Arrested In North Dakota

A sheriff in Park Rapids says a surgeon accused of choking his foster son by stuffing a latex glove down his throat has been arrested in North Dakota. Hubbard County, Minnesota, Sheriff Cory Aukes tells WDAY-TV that 50-year-old Dennis James Sullivan Jr., of Benedict, was arrested Tuesday and will be returned to Minnesota by Monday.

Teen Will Be Tried As Adult In Brutal St. Paul Beating

One of two 15-year-old boys accused of being involved in the brutal beating of a St. Paul man on the city’s east side last August will stand trial as an adult. Charles Redding will appear in a Ramsey County courtroom Thursday as he faces charges in the Aug. 4, 2013 assault of Ray Widstrand.

Organ Donation Helps Stillwater Family Cope With Tragic Loss

Twenty-nine-year-old Adam McCloud died in October of 2012 after he was beaten at a Stillwater bar. Eric Richard was convicted of first-degree assault after punching McCloud at Smalley’s Caribbean Barbeque. According to the criminal complaint, McCloud had spilled Richard’s drink and later refused to pay for it. After McCloud’s death, his family found that they could keep his spirit alive by helping local charities. Supper time at the Odebrecht household brings the family together. But every so often, they can’t help but think of who’s not at the dinner table.

The man who pleaded guilty to running down two Army recruiters at a Roseville crosswalk last year was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison. In November, Enrico Taylor pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree assault and one count of second-degree assault over the Sept. 17 incident.
